Arnos Hang-A-Plan is a specialist drawing storage system designed to organise and store architectural drawings, engineering plans, construction drawings and other large-format documents.
The system uses aluminium drawing hangers suspended from compatible mobile trolleys or wall-mounted racks, allowing drawings to be stored vertically rather than in traditional flat filing cabinets.
Standard Arnos Hang-A-Plan drawing hangers are available in three sizes:
A0 – D102A: For A0 drawings.
A1 – D100A: For A1 drawings.
A2/A3 – D099A: For A2 drawings and A3 documents in landscape format.
QuickFile hangers are also available in A0 (D202B) and A1 (D200B).
A standard Hang-A-Plan drawing hanger can hold approximately 100 sheets, depending on the paper thickness, weight and hanger model.
Many customers prefer to organise their drawings by project, allocating individual hangers to particular jobs or drawing sets.
Standard Hang-A-Plan hangers use wing nuts to secure drawings within the aluminium clamp.
QuickFile hangers feature quick-release cam levers, allowing drawings to be inserted and removed more quickly.
QuickFile is particularly useful for drawing offices where plans are frequently updated or accessed.
Yes. Genuine Arnos Hang-A-Plan drawing hangers carry a 10-year manufacturer's guarantee, subject to the applicable warranty terms.
Yes. Compatible Arnos A0 trolleys can accommodate smaller Hang-A-Plan hanger sizes.
However, A1 and A2 trolleys are not designed to accommodate larger A0 hangers.

Capacity depends on the trolley model.
Our range includes trolleys designed to accommodate approximately 15 or 20 drawing hangers.
The actual drawing capacity depends on the number of hangers fitted and the quantity and thickness of drawings stored within each hanger.

Compatibility depends on the rack model and the size of hanger being used.

Arnos Hang-A-Plan and Vistaplan use different drawing storage arrangements, and their equipment should not be assumed to be interchangeable.
We recommend using genuine Arnos Hang-A-Plan hangers with compatible Arnos trolleys and wall racks.
